In Q4, Méliuz chose buybacks over buying more BTC because, at roughly 0.50x EBITDA for the operating business, repurchasing shares was the most efficient way to increase Bitcoin per share. At that multiple, every buyback was effectively an acquisition of BTC plus a profitable, growing operating business at a discount.
That strategy generated 3.2% Bitcoin Yield in Q4 alone, and as of February 23, with the program 54.6% complete, cumulative Bitcoin Yield since inception had reached 4.38%.
Profitable business. Zero debt. Real cash flow. Bitcoin per share going up.
That is the edge.

@chamath If AI compresses terminal value and makes every moat temporary, capital will rotate to assets with no disruption risk. Bitcoin is Digital Capital - scarce, neutral, and impervious to AI disruption. $BTC should be the primary beneficiary of this shift.

The next tide-out moment may be private credit.
Bitcoin usually falls first in a liquidity event… and rallies hardest once the rescue begins.
Private credit → liquidity shock → policy response → Bitcoin.

Seriously though, who is going to be the first normal bank that follows the $STRC model?
Even with unfavorable regs for banks to copy it right now, there has to be discussions going on behind closed doors…

Just noticed something interesting in Strategy's 8-K from this morning.
They amended the ATM so STRC can now issue shares pre-market and post-market.
I'm changing the @bitcoinquant_ STRC analysis defaults to reflect this.
The beast has been unleashed and the machine runs on overtime now.
That means they could have potentially acquired nearly 1,800 Bitcoin today alone 🤯
