This is incredible. The NHS is recruiting doctors to “work from the beach” in Malaysia. Your local GP is being farmed off to a Bangalore call centre. Yes, Labour has begun offshoring the NHS. British patients are being forced to accept treatment from doctors based in Malaysia and India. In fact, the job ads offer Malaysians the chance to “work for the NHS without leaving Malaysia” and they can even work remotely. All this while the Chairman of the British Medical Association’s GP committee pleads with Labour to actually hire British workers. Astonishingly, there are hundreds of home grown GPs actively seeking NHS work in the UK. And that’s just the GPs already qualified, there is still an insane cap on funded medical school places for British students. The Tories and now Labour placed hard caps on the number of homegrown medical students this country can train, and is now recruiting Malaysians to be British GPs, from their homes in Malaysia. Meanwhile over 7 million patients are waiting for a GP appointment. That’s almost EXACTLY the number of foreign born people have registered with GPs in the last decade. The Tory-inflicted population explosion has crippled our NHS and now Labour is offshoring it. Reform will reverse every single one of these travesties. Britain needs Reform.
