@erik_engle Because only the mentally ill leftists want to require mandated jerseys on players. Irish heritage night is a theme night for fans, for those who want to celebrate. Very doubtful Irish would want to force their heritage on others, but if they did, we'd put a stop to that too.

You really lose the argument both ways on this: 1) if there were no discussions, they violated the rule set by Manfred. 2) if there were discussions, then they knew the players were going to write on the caps.

They were trying to "kinda comply" , figuring its better than not wearing at all. Manager said he didnt talk to players, because it was understood they can do what they want.
