@Jawmuncher So no remake, what’s wrong with a 60fps patch? No art is harmed there. Would love to know what the issue is there and why that didn’t happen.

Oh…that’s going to change the conversation on this quite a bit. For ages people just assumed Sony didn’t want to do it. Curious why FromSoftware didn’t want it to happen, not like they’ll be doing it themselves at this rate.

@fromsoftserve I think this is where we are at. Hopefully the door is open to a sequel or some sort of remake in the next few years via FromSoft.

Perhaps they're in a standoff where Sony wants it remade, Fromsoftware doesn't, and they value their relationship with Miyazaki enough to not push forward without his blessing. But Sony also doesn't want to sell the IP back, so it's in limbo.

Ok this might sound crazy, but hear me out. This could signal that Miyazaki wants to buy the Bloodborne IP from Sony. Back in 2024, Fromsoftware bought the Elden Ring IP back from Bandai Namco, so there is precedent for this.

@Ms5000Watts It doesn’t need a remake, just put in the work to make it 60fps.

Bloodborne is very special to Miyazaki and bloodborne has the MOST important focus on design, art etc so I understand why he wouldn't want anyone except himself to do a remake for it. Hope it happens one day but this makes total sense to me

@TheTrueVanguard Such a fun game that was picked a part over some early game dialog. If you happen to get past the opening you were in for a treat if you like open world style game. Traversal and the spell based fighting system were a treat.

Still can't believe people hated on this game so much, one of the best fast-paced mage combat games I've played in a very long time.

One genre I don’t play enough is RPG’s. I decided this year I wanted to play at least 1 per month. Last month I did Ys VIII on Vita. Currently playing Golden Sun Dark Dawn on DS for this month. I’m thinking Skies of Arcadia Legends next month. I’ve heard nothing but great things.

@SMetaldave64 I would prefer a remaster like most, but I’m happy I don’t have to dig out a GC or Wii to play this now. Maybe one day Nintendo will give us that remaster.

For sure not the Metroid Prime 2 Remaster many were hoping for, but the GC version of Metroid Prime 2 is the original version that many never played, since most who played it, played the Metroid Prime Trilogy version which was made easier than the original and had no GC controls.

Super Mario Strikers is now available on Switch 2. There are 6 more confirmed GameCube games coming to Switch 2. Fire Emblem Path of Radiance is the biggest draw.

The smoke console turned out nice too. The customer kinda gave me free rein with these, so fingers crossed he likes them 😂. I’ve got a Roland BN-20A sign maker in the shop now, and being able to make my own high-quality decals, stickers, etc., is pretty nice...
