After seeing another terrorist attack in NYC I don’t understand how it is so hard for people that choose to come to America to then assimilate to our generous and freedom loving western society. You chose to come. I’ve seen endless examples of cultures from around the world successfully integrate here because the people that came had the intention to join our great community to build and not take. You can find great examples from every single corner of the planet. Having reverence for your own culture doesn’t mean you get to disrespect America. Having respect for our customs should be the very first step and it should never be overshadowed by the social norms of where you came from. I fully believe that EVERYONE should be proud of their heritage but not at the expense of the nation that so generously gave you a home. America is for Americans. Americans come in every shape and every color and are members of every creed imaginable. If you want to be part of building our nation and our story you are absolutely welcome. If you want to replace it you cannot be here. Making a choice to not integrate is deliberate and as a result you absolutely don’t deserve the privilege to stay. This is common sense.

So many leftists are suspiciously quiet today after they’ve spent weeks on end defending the Iranian regime. Iran executed a teenager for protesting and now they all hide in their holes. No condemnation. Their silence tells me all that I need to know. They support this.

I’d actually argue they’re even more abusive. It’s not typically physical, more emotional and mental, and not just among the woke. It’s everywhere. More than half my married friends have experienced it & often still do on a normal basis. I’ve lost touch with others who are isolated and ‘tamed’ as it were. Many of them are depressed and emasculated.

Women are just as abusive on average as men but they get away with it much more often.

Hospital prices keep surging and crushing Americans. President Trump pushed price transparency but hospitals are still hiding costs to protect their massive markups. Contact your elected officials and demand REAL hospital price transparency. That’s the only way to solve this.

Don’t do it. He needs to find another way to help his brother. Never sell real estate to pay for someone else’s debt. There is always a chance you can’t get the money back. If you insist on going forward in trying to help him maybe consider taking out an equity line (a mortgage) on the house your mom gave you. This isn’t advisable in my opinion but it can avoid you selling the house. Also make sure to get the repayment in a signed contract.

My husband wants me to sell a small house my mother left me so he can help a brother pay off a debt & then he'll pay me back what should I do 😞
