Frank, that's wrong. Alonso hasn't had a bad season in his career as a coach. He took Leverkusen from 17th in October to 6th at the end of the season in 22/23. The following season, he was Champions, unbeaten in Bundesliga. His stats wasn't bad at Real Madrid either: 34 matches managed 24 wins 4 draws 6 losses Plus, he actually suit our squad. And someone who is one of the best in-game tacticians in the game today.

This Managerial appointment is reminding me of 2 years back when Pochettino was sacked. Two Italians were the favorite, Roberto De Zerbi and Enzo Maresca. Everyone thought De Zerbi will be appointed, then Maresca came in. Did Maresca actually improved the project? No he didn't. We had players who did well under Pochettino, most of them dropped under Maresca. Some became a shadow of themselves. Some couldn't replicate what they did before. Now, we have two Spanish managers in Andoni Iraola and Xabi Alonso as the favorite, who do you think will be appointed? Will another be mistake be made?
