Chicago is the only team that makes sense in a Knies trade. They DESPERATELY need a top 6 forward with size. More than any other team that would be interested. They also have a wealth of prospects. Knies for 4th overall, Frondell, Rinzel Leafs draft Stenberg at 4th overall

I don’t get why so many #Blackhawks fans are against targeting McTavish. Has a previous connection with Bedard, the two were ridiculous together in the world juniors. Power forward with size and grit we’re missing in the top six. I get the skating/defensive concerns, but it’s not like we don’t have a ton of young players who are proficient in those areas. Need more lineup diversity, he would provide that. Plus, likely wouldn’t have to sacrifice nearly as much to get him like other top players on the market
