What India needs badly today is the revival and dominance of secular parties. But what is happening is exactly the opposite—dominance of communalism. And what pains me is that this is happening with the active collaboration of religious Hindus/actual Sanatanis (not the abusive thugs and kalnemis on social media) who think this will mean return of glorious Hindu Rashtra and along with it rule of the Dharmashastras. It won’t.
