@noahlisk yeah it's a fine line to try and straddle, a lot of the time i feel like the time spent isn't worth it but then every now and then i get something in place that feels like pure magic lol

@Zeneca Yeah forsure it’s lead to me rebuilding systems the *correct* way using the lessons learned the first time but it depends on the system you’re rebuilding and the end goal. Is the ROI of time spent worth it? bc otherwise it’s a massive waste of time that only feels productive

Anyone else get the urge to constantly restart their AI related systems and "start over"? Kinda like a video game, like a bad start in Civ where you wanna go again? Like I wanna do it with my openclaw agent, hermes agent, my obsidian vaults / karpathy style wiki things My claude code projects that get unruly Everything It's a constant desire to just burn everything and start fresh Anyone else?

I started out using openclaw, then switched to hermes, but now i'm wondering if it's worth trying openclaw again to see how it compares lately (probably won't, will likely just stick with hermes) i'm definitely using obsidian vaults and trying to create karpathy style llm wiki things too, but haven't come up with a great version for myself just yet

Constantly and working on a new iteration right now! For me there are are a few elements to this: - It's fun and dopamine inducing - A previous iteration may have gotten away from me and devolved into slop. Maybe just this time I'll show more restraint. - It's seemingly cheap in terms of effort to generate (though not true if you keep starting over).

@samoweb3 yeah definitely feeling it more with OC/hermes, but even a bit with claude and other things too

@Zeneca This was often how I felt when I used to fiddle with linux. You really need to be able to keep your workspace clean. Thats the goal. But when fiddling comes first, things get messy, and a reset often helps

@Zeneca yeah. especially as models and strategies get better, i often wonder if redoing my old projects with new metas is what i should be focusing on.

Alright we got 512gb of ram to play with Time to experiment with some local models and 400,000 chrome tabs
