Follow the law protect it is all we the American people are asking for. We want accountability. The rule of law needs ongoing commitment. Give us that so we might trust it again. The vigilance is crucial because the rule of law isn't self-sustaining; it requires ongoing commitment from every level of society to uphold, defend, and sometimes, to reform it to better reflect the principles of justice and equity. The rule of law, it must be held high and if it falls you pick it up and hold it even higher! For all of society, all civilized people will have nothing to shelter them if it is destroyed! Absolutely, the rule of law is foundational to any democratic and civilized society. It ensures that everyone is governed by the same laws, promoting fairness, accountability, and protection of individual rights. If the rule of law weakens, it risks plunging society into chaos where might makes right, undermining democracy, human rights, and justice.

I’ll be honest, the list released by House Ethics seems very odd and feels like an attempt at a “cleanup job.” Ethics is notorious for being where things are shoved away to avoid tough votes or provide off-ramps.
