China can recruit astronauts from your country... A foreign astronaut will travel to the Chinese space station for the first time. Two Pakistanis, Muhammad Zeeshan Ali and Khurram Dawood, have been selected as the first foreign astronauts to train for a Chinese manned space mission. This was announced by the China Manned Space Program Administration (CMSA). Ali and Dawood will soon arrive in China for training. After evaluation, one of them will participate in a space mission as a cargo payload expert. In February 2025, China and Pakistan signed a cooperation agreement in Islamabad regarding the selection and training of the two Pakistani astronauts. After three stages of a rigorous selection process, the two candidates were chosen. It is worth noting that the Chinese manned space program is always open to cooperation and welcomes the active participation of all countries in scientific experiments and technical tests on the Tiangong space station.

After training, one of them will be the first non-Chinese astronaut in the Chinese Space Station. Once in space, they will be the first professional astronauts of Pakistani origin.
