@LondonEconomics @Abtisam_Mohamed @DrJoGrady @ucu @suttontrust @inter_gen He says that, due to the freeze on the parental contribution levels since 2016, students from a single parent household on the minimum wage are no longer eligible for the maximum maintenance loans

@LondonEconomics @Abtisam_Mohamed @DrJoGrady @ucu @suttontrust Toby Whelton from @inter_gen is now putting forward their work on progressive taxation, where taxes are raised on higher-earners and used to fund education.

Today, we are back in Parliament to discuss student funding for home undergraduate students. Parliamentarians and students in attendance will hear from 4 experts on how they think we can solve the current maintenance funding crisis.
