Today, 5 years on from our humble beginnings, I pass the torch over as Country Director to my successor. Republic of Uganda: I presented my credentials and letter of designation to H.E President Museveni today. Ready to accelerate the implementation of SDGs in support of the government of Uganda and help with the humanitarian response to the 1.8 million refugees in the country.

On my way to Mekelle, 460km from Semera after a fruitful monitoring field visit to Aysaita refugee camp. Had lunch at DANKALIYA restaurant operated by a refugee association. Economic empowerment, water, education & health are top priorities for both refugees & IDPs. 👌
