The brand new headquarters of the Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS) in Abuja is powered by CNG. This is a very good signaling. In the long term when we have 247 light, it may not be required but for today, it's a good transition model. Seeing those CNG trucks with cascade tubes made me very optimistic about the ongoing AKK gas pipeline that's nearing completion. Nigeria is actually entering its golden age but many may not see it. What we need is to sustain our current reform trajectory and quicken it from 2027. By the time President Bola Tinubu will be handing over to a carefully headhunted successor in 2031, we might be entering the kind of "Fasholaic era" that Lagos entered in 2007. I'm that optimistic!
