Lack of capacity to see the whole picture can be intentional or not. We are not surprised for industry to do it, but when respected academics, editors of recognized journals do it as well, we are lost. I believe we should condemn this behavior

General cardiology, patients with DES are referred prior to dental/surg procedures. Guidance probably varies. I tell my patients unless major risk of bleeding at least SAPT
3 years post LAD stent. SAPT stopped for 3 days = STEMI on a weekend

18month old 23mm S3 Resilia inside of a 10yr old 23mm Magna (performed elsewhere). Early failure with severe AS in a patient with STS of 10. Only option is surgery due to very low LM. 2/3 leaflets were calcified. Thoughts?? #tavr #tavintav #edwardssapien
