Actually Shortcut is bulkier so may be harder. BASILICA or UNICORN may have more control. What we want to see is how close to commissure you can still modify effectively and also this is help operators to aim at the leaflet and not at the skirt and only aiming at specific nodes can help identify the leaflet base.

Next Wed 5/20 in Paris we will present our proposed "Split Line" conceptual framework to simplify procedural planning and workflow in leaflet modification in #RedoTAVR. Unlike native AV and surgical AV, where it's easier to ID the cusp nadir for leaflet modification, #TAVR frame with no consistent commissural alignment, has no visible leaflet insertion line to ID the nadir to guide modification. Using bench models we have for the FIRST TIME describe a 4-step process to guide planning for leaflet modification in redo-TAVR. We ID the various #TAVR frame and leaflet relationships, such that we can use CT-fluoro relationships to ID the coronary facing node on the frame to plan for leaflet modification. The "Split Line" makes it easier to standardize the leaflet modification planning procedure in redo-TAVR by identifying the ideal fluoroscopic node and position to perform the traversal and splitting. Bench and clinical studies are ongoing to validate our proposed concept. JUST OUT! #AATS2026 @AATSHQ plenary presentation by @LarsSvenssonMD on COMMENCE 10y follow up data on Edwards Lifesciences #Resilia tissue in SAVR summarized in these graphics here: 10/27 centers reconsented for >5y follow up. 192 pts had 10y visit and 166 pts with 10y echo follow up showing low SVD, valve thrombosis, valve reintervention, and stable gradients. Will be benchmarked against #TAVR durability with or without Resilia tissue. Look forward to reading the full publication for deep dives.
