We can spill alot of ink on how hockey culture (the good and the bad) is Canadian. But things like this are a stark reminder that there is yet a vast difference between Canadians and Americans in the sheer humility and lack of entitlement.

Ok I will bite. Didn’t want to engage in this but… Been chatting with @StatBoy_Steven about this and the IOC owns the puck. It is their property. It isnt Jack Hughes’s or Megan Keller’s puck to keep. The NHL makes it is easier for players to get their artifacts unlike the IOC or IIHF. Remember those artifacts are on loan/donated from the IOC and IIHF to be in the HHOF. Ask Mika Zibanejad where his 1st Olympic Goal puck is. Not with him. And confirmed today by the HHOF
