Invented vocabulary & mixed up pronouns are thoroughly confusing (pity any teacher trying to teach grammar now.) How many beautiful poems have they learned by heart in their last 5 years at that school?

Pt2…. the singular. For example “I have a friend in hospital - I took them flowers”.’ Or “there’s a person on the boat, they are waving at us”. They/then are used when you don’t need/know
