@PeterDutton_MP @DavidColemanMP As a parent i strongly oppose this bill and any attempt to disguise censorship as misinformation. As a doctor i doubt you will protect anyone from eating disorders or mental health issues by attempting to restrict access to information.

Today we heard devastating accounts from families who have been impacted by eating disorders. For any parent, there’s no greater fear than seeing their child unwell. Eating Disorders Families Australia has been a powerful voice in advocating to protect young minds from the harmful effects of social media. The Coalition is serious about our calls for the government to increase the age teenagers can access social media to 16. Now that the age limit has been adopted by the Prime Minister, let's get this implemented by Christmas.

I know parents are worried about the impacts of social media on their children. That’s why we're implementing a minimum age of 16. It will help protect kids and give parents peace of mind. Great to chat about it with Craig this morning on ABC Sydney.

ABSOLUMENT MAGISTRAL ! Puisque @Charlie_Hebdo_ à fait cet édito, tellement juste, puissant et intégralement impeccable, je n’ai rien d’autre à dire moi-même. À faire circuler. Partout. Pour l’honneur de l’esprit français ! 🙏🏻👏🏼

This is such a great paper! We all know that patients with Staphylococcus aureus bacteremia are such a heterogeneous group - this paper breaks the bulk of patients down into relevant clinical "sub-phenotypes" academic.oup.com/cid/article/do…

& is crashing on you, is when you place “crash” central venous/arterial lines. If you don't do it yourself, either nobody will do it or it will be done much later (after antibiotics) & you will commit the nurse or the phlebotomist spending time on a task that will take you 30 sec

meanwhile in the southern GBR.. mass coral bleaching (& recent mortality) at all reefs & sites surveyed this weekend, affecting vast majority of genera & all size classes; unfortunately, slope (~8m) almost as severely affected (~80% of colonies across sites) as the crest (>90%)!

More underwater images of the mass bleaching unfolding in the northern GBR. Water temperatures appear to be dropping after prolonged heating of >5 DHW, but the coral bleaching at this reef is severe (>80% colonies), with exceptionally high rates of mortality in juvenile corals.
