@averagejoelle Funny enough (or sad enough), some millennials use this approach to coach their junior, most often Gen Z, team members. This results in an increasing number of workers who are unable to solve simple problems w/o step-by-step instructions.

Millennial parents will literally peel and cut their kids apples into tiny animals but not teach them how to function when things don’t go exactly how they want.

Unpopular opinion: If you choose not to work or study until you are 38, you shouldn't be very upset if your husband chooses to move the family from a fancy Upper East Side apartment and start a business in Texas thecut.com/article/stay-a…

I am scared to ask twitter this but I am also very curious when you gave birth, did you allow family to come visit immediately? Or did you allow space for just you and your baby to bond? Or is it evil to want to space for you and baby to bond????

@sfstandard @stbearman There are other cities in the U.S. where pre-K costs $30K+, and no one gets subsidies. Maybe a silly question, but If SF is so expensive and you want more kids, why not move?

After watching People Magazine Investigates, I noticed two patterns in the most horrific killers: 1) Almost all of them were imprisoned and released early before committing most hideous crimes 2) Many of them started with rape, but received just several months, and then escalated

If your friends aren't talking about: • Home affordability • Side gigs/ways to earn more • Childcare costs • The most recent world crisis or war You are likely not a millennial.

30-40 year old men have no 18 year old male friends. Never do they see a teen boy and think they are mentally, socially or emotionally equal. But they will meet an 18 year old girl and say “we just have so much in common”.

@TK_HelpDesk Just sent a DM. When I called TA for the second time, I was told that the ticket I reserved and paid for in January is a stand-by ticket and has not been confirmed. I have a TA email confirmation and ticket in my email. The whole situation is very confusing.

Hi @TurkishAirlines, I tried to reserve a wheelchair in January and was told I am calling too early and need to call a week or so before the flight. When I called a week before, I was told all wheelchairs are booked and I need to pay $80+ for a wheelchair. Can you assist?

That's a terrible decision. On several occasions, AI gave me better advice than doctors from the best NYC hospitals. When I asked clarifying questions, the doctors changed their recommendation to match the AI's initial recommendation.
More Perfect Union@MorePerfectUS

A New York bill would ban AI from answering questions related to several licensed professions like medicine, law, dentistry, nursing, psychology, social work, engineering, and more. The companies would be liable if the chatbots give “substantive responses” in these areas.

The opposite is also true, but much harder to overcome. Your past failures do not predict your future. Too many people stop believing in themselves after making a few missteps and default to a steady, flat life.
Robert Greene@RobertGreene

Never take it for granted that your past successes will continue in the future. Actually, your past successes are your biggest obstacle: every battle, every war, is different, and you cannot assume that what worked before will work today.
