@j_divis no, I don't. Paul went to them after Jesus' death.
But you knew that, didn't you?
English

Ever wonder about the ‘other sheep’ Jesus mentioned in John 10:16?
After His resurrection, He visited the ancient Americas!
In 3 Nephi, He ministered to the Nephites, just as in Jerusalem.
Have you read this powerful account?
What does it mean to you?

@deanandsha @Latterdaytruth Exactly. And no non-Mormon thinks he is a prophet of any sort. At all.
English

@Latterdaytruth There is no Mormonism without Joe.
Not the same Christ.

Jesus is the center of Mormonism

How Dependent Are Mormons On Jesus?…✝️
English

@Latterdaytruth Interesting that I couldn't become a member for not believing Joseph Smith was a prophet, yet I have complete faith that Jesus is the Messiah.
English

@Latterdaytruth @stackerco Not at all. Not this one, even when I was Christian. You are sadly, and utterly, deluded.
English

@kmbecker25 @EinsiedlerKreb @antiantimormon How many were killed by Mormons in the Mountain Meadows massacre? Did the Holy Spirit stay for that one?
It's called "sin". And any time you have humans you have sin.
English

@AnotherStam @EinsiedlerKreb @antiantimormon How many people did the Catholic Church torture and kill over the centuries. Inquisitions against Jews, Cathars, Templars, witches, Gnostics, etc etc etc?
What was the number and at what number does the Holy Ghost withdraw authority?
English

What do "Mormons" really believe? What is the doctrine of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints?
If you had no preconceived notions and only listened to #GeneralConference, ChatGPT concludes:
Jesus Christ is the center of everything.
He is not a supporting figure. He is the focus: “Come unto Him.” “Follow Him.” “Abide in Him.” “He is the way.”
His atonement and resurrection are the core: He heals, redeems, forgives, strengthens, and overcomes death itself.
Salvation is not passive belief. It is a covenant relationship: Baptism, sacrament, temple, obedience, repentance, enduring to the end, all bind us to Him.
The goal is transformation: Be born again. Change your heart. Become like Christ. Develop charity. Become a new creature.
The end is not just being saved, but returning home: To God. To eternal life. To eternal families.
And the evidence of it all is how we live: Love others. Serve. Minister. Forgive. Help others come home.
Everything points to Him.
Jesus Christ is not one doctrine among many.
He is the doctrine.

@kmbecker25 @EinsiedlerKreb @antiantimormon Na, nothing was lost. And there was nothing to "restore". And no academic Biblical scholar or Christian history scholar will disagree with me. Nor will they "feel" I am wrong....
English

@AnotherStam @EinsiedlerKreb @antiantimormon The Pope today doesn't even bother to pretend he receives revelation from God. Evidently something has been lost over the years.
And the Protestants don't even pretend to have restored anything, except maybe for aggressive Bible studies. 🤷🏻♂️
English

@EinsiedlerKreb @antiantimormon I've been many times. But not this time...
English

@AnotherStam @antiantimormon I don’t think you know what general conference is and nor did you watch it
English

@kmbecker25 @EinsiedlerKreb @antiantimormon Nonsense. No academic historian of Christianity of any stripe buys the "apostasy" nonsense. Only Mormons do. While there was plenty of sin along the way (humans are good at that) the Holy Spirit continued to work within his church ( as Christians define "church") through the ages
English

@AnotherStam @EinsiedlerKreb @antiantimormon There's nothing non-Christian about the apostasy.
It's like saying the Protestant reformation was non-Christian. Or it was non-Christian for the Catholics to admit burning witches is actually kinda problematic. Past reforms are proof of real actual problems.
English

@KevinRDuncan How did that carpenter's son from a rural Galilean village who was later crucified for sedition become the "king of kings and Lords of Lords"?
This I gotta hear.....
English

@Latterdaytruth And you wanna know why you might get some hatred thrown your way?
Keep talking like that. Thankfully, I don't live in America, but I can only imagine what so many Americans think of such drivel....
English

@ChristoffDTodd Where's the bit about knowing Joseph Smith was a prophet of God, that he ran for the U.S. Presidency, and that you feel in your heart and testify that the Book of Mormon is true?
English

When we consider the character of the Savior we tend to focus immediately on His attributes, such as virtue, integrity, humility, compassion, and courage, but we should also consider, what is it in Jesus that gives rise to such character traits?
I believe they are the natural fruit of the thoughts, desires, and intents of His heart.
Christlike character grows out of a Christlike heart.
Thus, if we are to succeed in developing a Christlike character, we must possess His motivations—His thoughts, desires, and intents of the heart. For us, it will require what the scriptures call a “mighty change of heart.”
Jesus thinks and acts out of pure love; He yearns to bless and lift others; and He delights to do the will of God.
With faith in Christ, we can pray that the Holy Spirit will effect a mighty change in us to instill these same divine motivations in our heart and help us practice the attributes of a Christlike character. #GeneralConference

@MarclovesAshlee @jefe_tweets Yea, verily....
I loveth how Mormons continue to speaketh in 1611 English, and useth an outdated, poorly translated Bible
English

@jefe_tweets “If they have not charity, it mattereth not unto thee.” Ether 12:37
English

@Latterdaytruth I don't hate you at all for being LDS. No. And you are free to believe what you believe. It's Mormon claims...particularly that 1800 years of "Church" ( as Christians define "Church") history was an "apostasy" and that the LDS are the one true church on earth that are odious.
English

@EinsiedlerKreb @antiantimormon What are you talking about? The guy I was responding to set out a bunch of Mormom beliefs. It all sounded very Christian. I just wanted to snap back with some non-Christian beliefs Mormons have. There are more. If you like I can list them....
English

@AnotherStam @antiantimormon This was not left out of conference lol what are you talking about

In Canada elections are determined by the East Quebec and Ontario. So all they had to do was flood the large cities with immigrants that would vote for them and convince the “ELBOWS UP” crowd that Trump was going to take Canada over to get their votes. The west (west of the Ontario boarder) are not properly represented by number of seat in Parliament. Elections are usually decided before the western votes are counted. Thanks for your attention of this matter! ❤️🇨🇦🇺🇸

“STRAIGHT SHOOTER”@Goalkickingguru
How could four retards like this get elected as leader in four great countries
English

@mark_slapinski Can't blame them. PP is Canada's Trump — no one in Canada wants a demented person in power.
English

@mamalinstro @corbinallred Truth is objectively verifiable.
He is no prophet of God to every one else. Really.
Truly. NO ONE else thinks he is, other than Mormons.
English

@AnotherStam @corbinallred Truth is truth whether you believe it or not.
He is the prophet called by God to the world to prepare all for the coming of Jesus Christ.

President Oaks is 93 years old. Remarkable stamina. His body is weakening, I notice his slight tremor, but he speaks with clarity and power. He is a prophet of God. He is led by the Head of the Church, Jesus Christ.
