Curious, what would happen to in-app advertisements and brands paying top dollar for showing their brand as the preferred choice on the apps. Now that LLMs are going to interface with mobile apps.

The only reason they're safe (i presume) is cause it requires https and (maybe) someone hasn't reverse mapped the hostnames (yet).

I want to have an app on phone where I can triage my feeds, searches. "Tinder for Feeds". > Add search queries as feeds (like arXiv search) > Paste cookies for paywalled sites > Dedupe the same story from 5 sources (maybe?)

@eryoungboy I had this use case. nextcloud is pretty decent. There's also seafile , I was looking into. I haven't used it for multi-tenant use case so haven't really checked the permissions thing.

@AseemShrey Also, how well does your Nextcloud fare for other users especially with permissions. With my setup, I would have family members transfer their heavy files to the server over LAN. I want to make sure they can do so via SMB. If yes, I don't need to install Samba.

Hey Erioluwa 👋 No I didn't go the proxmox route, a bit too convoluted for me. I installed casaos and then bigbearos's nextcloud setup. community.bigbeartechworld.com/t/added-nextcl… Add bigbearcasaos as an app store in casa os and you get access to all the apps that they've containerised. Make sure to read the link above, to set it up through cloudflare tunnel so that you can access it across the internet.

@AseemShrey Hello, could you please tell me how you installed this? -the base setup. I'm working on something like that. A homeserver for majorly NAS & Immich. Did you go the Proxmox route, then containers for each?
