for the past couple of weeks I’ve been working on a native macOS film/print simulation app. not starting from zero here. this began as a fork of spektrafilm, and a huge part of the work is understanding, porting, and adapting it into a native Mac experience with a Metal renderer.

Seeing this a lot from GPT 5.6 Sol using Kimi K3 subagents It thinks K3 overanalyzes things needlessly for simple tasks, could explain why it tends to be expensive. Maybe it just needs more precise prompts or some RL for K3.1, or maybe just lower than max reasoning
