A “Double Dissolution” does more than trigger an election, it resets both houses and lowers the Senate quota. This creates a pathway for new voices to convert broad support into real influence. This is why this mechanism matters, but it only works if it is credible, disciplined, and clearly understood as a necessary step rather than a reckless one, and that is the line that must be held as pressure builds and the demand for real change continues to grow.
