It's great to officially announce our alignment with @icmdotrun. A bit of reflection on where we are and how we got here. Our vision at Beamable has always been to make it easier for teams to create new and fun technology. -> It started with Video Games We built a successful business by helping developers save time and money with backend solutions for games. Today, that business runs the backend for Star Trek: Timelines and other well-known IPs like Dr. Who, The Office, FIFA, and some of the biggest Web3 Games. -> The vision, bigger than Gaming What makes the business of "backend infrastructure" enticing is two-fold: 1. DEMAND: Cloud Compute is a $1T industry. Every game, application, and website runs on compute. It's the oil of the internet. 2. OPPORTUNITY: The dominant model (led by AWS, Microsoft, and Google) comes with high costs, lock-in, and single-point failures. Our model tackles the gaps created by industry domination from the tech giants, providing a more cost-efficient and resilient solution with proven reliability and scale. -> Where we are, today Today, we're rounding off the first phases of our Web3 Roadmap: $BMB token and Staking are live; the protocol is operational, our initial on-chain revenue has been seeded, and Node Operators (which help run and decentralize the protocol) are online. TODAY, we are a top-10 DePIN protocol by revenue, already showcasing >$800k ARR on-chain. -> Why YOU should care The protocol directs revenue straight back to token holders. We chose crypto as the place to lay our foundation because the framework of decentralization through an on-chain protocol gives us an advantage over hyperscalers. In doing so, we understand the critical value in aligning outcomes for holders. Those who hold and stake $BMB benefit from up to a 10% share of revenue earned by worker pools in our protocol. That's real USDC, distributed monthly: one of many ways that we link token value to protocol growth. -> What's Next From here, the most critical mission is protocol growth. As on-chain revenue grows, so does the monthly payout for token stakers. As that number grows, the token's value becomes increasingly undeniable, and the network's flywheel of buybacks and decirculation will amplify that impact.
