The move to GG is really a move to a DAO. Once the IP and business are in the DAO, the community can vote on launching a $DEEEP token in the future if that’s the direction it wants to take. More importantly, this gives device owners something much bigger than before. Instead of being tied to a single token, they become part of a DAO centered around the entire NerdNode business, its IP, treasury, and future growth. GG already provides the governance, treasury, and legal framework to make that possible.

NEW: The Clarity Act has officially been reported out of the Senate Banking Committee and placed on the Senate Legislative Calendar. On May 14, the committee voted to advance the bill. I understand the frustration, but a few of these decisions were tied directly to security and regulatory alignment. DeEEP has always been focused on operating within evolving regulation, even before the CLARITY Act became the primary framework being discussed. The device return process exists because giving out wipe/reset tools broadly creates major security risks around internal code and system access. On the points side, rewards and future token distribution are tied to a DeEEP wallet connected to an active device. If the device is removed from the network and swapped back to a standard PC setup, that DeEEP wallet relationship no longer exists, so the associated distribution eligibility cannot continue.
