As you seem to like Grok I shall refer you back to it. “Legitimate referendum” - not what took place in the Donbas. No Canada would not have the right to stop them if they had a legitimate referendum. Self determination is key. If the aim of the Kremlin was only the Donbas why did they go for Kyiv. I’ll give you the answer, they wanted all of Ukraine but they’ve shrunk this war aims to the Donbas because it may actually be achievable in the next 10 years.

@Kellyke23089538 @ClownWorld So your dictator point from your last comment is incorrect? You’ve just said that zelensky was legitimately elected but that Putin was most likely not. Zelensky cannot hold an election whilst the country is at war, as per the constitution.
