My honest takeaway from the Cincinnati series: very competitive games. Red Sox battled but couldn’t get the timely hit.
But I can’t even entertain drawing any conclusions from 3 games.

@JustinMLB He is definately a MLB caliber player. He batted .256 last year and fans are expecting him to bat .300. I think the fact that he doesn’t strike out often and puts the ball in play is what the team values. .256 works with 30 HR and 100 RBI but that’s not him.

It was a shitty series but if you think he’s not a Major League caliber third baseman after 3 games you need to let doctors examine your brain

@tylermilliken_ We all knew he wasn’t coming back. Who offers a player a 3 year deal with an opt out for the last 2 years. Honestly I think they only wanted him for 1 year. They never wanted to pay him what he wanted.
