@GaelicStadia @DubGAAOfficial A couple of interesting factors could be what zoning Parnell is, and which 60 odd acres are zoned sporting? Theres an argument to be made that a land swap for a completely new stadium bordering Mount Temple could be a win all round.

@Brenault98 I sincerely hope @DubGAAOfficial are all over this. There must be scope to acquire land from DCC considering the sporting context of the existing lease. An opportunity such as this will not come around again.

Dublin’s Stadium Problem I have wanted to address this for quite a while but with discussion becoming ever more frequent I will now put forward my opinion on how to solve the problem facing @DubGAAOfficial. I could write a thesis on this but I’ll keep it as brief as possible.

@Brenault98 That’s interesting, I hadn’t heard that but if it did materialise Dublin GAA would be in a strong position to make a case for acquiring some of the land due to the sporting lease element to the current ownership. I don’t think too much would be required to expand PP sufficiently.

So it could be back on the cards. Especially as the sale basically relies on the council changing the lease terms
