Yesterday morning, after being asked to put together the research brief I have attached, I received a message from a military contact with access to LTGen Mike Flynn and it was unambiguous. "Marx is bad news. LTG Flynn did not and is not endorsing him. Marx knows Flynn is not endorsing him so that should disappear off their sites." I asked if I could release it. The answer was yes, with certain stipulations that I have honored. Here is the backstory of what Victor Marx did, and does: On January 30th, he took a tweet from General Flynn and converted it into a full campaign graphic: "ENDORSEMENT ALERT," complete with Flynn's photograph and his full credentials as Former Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency and Former National Security Advisor, and he plastered it across his social media pages and his campaign materials to solicit donations and manufacture the appearance of legitimacy from one of the most respected military figures in the conservative movement. He tagged it. He fundraised off it. He built it into his campaign narrative. 𝐈𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐚 𝐥𝐢𝐞. General Flynn did 𝒏𝒐𝒕 endorse Victor Marx. Victor Marx knows he was not endorsed, and now you do too. If you do not believe me, go look at his website . . . what do you 𝒏𝒐𝒕 see? I will answer that for you: an endorsement from LTG Mike Flynn. It is not there. . . .exactly as my source said it would 𝒏𝒐𝒕 be. 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞. At the Evergreen Area Republican Club meeting on March 4th, Victor Marx stood in front of Jefferson County Republicans and told the room that former Governor Bill Owens had turned on his longtime friend and ally Barb Kirkmeyer to support him instead. He performed it with his usual theatrical dramatic flair and got a few laughs from the crowd. I posted the video from the event (you can scroll back and you can see it for yourself) and within hours Bill Owens appeared in my comment section and corrected every word of it, on the record, in public, under his own name. He endorses Barb Kirkmeyer, and he’s donated to her campaign. He went on to clarify that he met Victor and Eileen Marx exactly once, for coffee, at the Marxes' own request, told them plainly that he was backing Barb, and 𝐧𝐨 𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧. Two living men. Two fabricated associations. Both went on record to correct him. Now consider the men who cannot. Charlie Kirk, whose memorial vigil Marx exploited to launch his campaign and harvest the personal data of grieving conservatives, cannot tell you whether he ever blessed any of this. James Dobson, whose name and legacy Marx has invoked repeatedly to establish credibility with the Christian Conservative community, cannot dispute a single word. When your witnesses are alive, they correct the record. When they are gone, the claim stands forever, and the donations keep coming. None of this is coincidence. It is the playbook of a deceitful, highly unethical, and immoral man. For those who need to see what a real Flynn endorsement looks like, I have attached it. It is a formal letter on official General Flynn letterhead, signed by Michael T. Flynn, LTG, US Army, Retired, written in full for Hope Scheppelman for Colorado's 3rd Congressional District.
