Girls are not safe with a @JeffcoSchoolsCo policy that requires girls to sleep and shower in the same overnight room as MALE students and staff. Having a separate bed (Jeffco’s recent concession) is NOT ENOUGH to protect girls or restore trust. RT & tell Jeffco to PROTECT GIRLS!

Jefferson County schools was just hit with a title ix DOE violation for having *61* girls' sports roster spots currently held by males. Sixty-one. In one district. You should listen to all the girls speaking up for themselves about how this hurts them... instead of gaslighting them to sit down, be quiet and just take it. It is not kind or loving to facilitate a child's belief that they've been born in the wrong body and can change their sex. They can't. Have some empathy for the boys who've been lied to and encouraged to violate girls' spaces, chemically castrate and surgically mutilate their healthy bodies. None of this is comfortable or safe for them either. Why is it okay to prioritize the feelings of some wrong-sex confused males over the safety, well-being, feelings, and opportunities of ALL females? The lie that boys can become girls hurts everyone. This measures isn’t AGAINST anyone. It is FOR protecting all kids.

Hi Kyle! Jewish atheist feminist here. I chaired the protect girls’ sports initiative. I’m not a Christian Evangelical. Not that there is anything wrong with being one. I like many. But your description of the measures and who supports them is simply inaccurate.

I am a Christian, and I have two daughters. Both my daughters attend public school. When my daughters were old enough to go to school I felt so much pressure from the Christian culture to homeschool them. I went to public school and had a really good experience, but everyone was treating public school like it was the devils playground. I tried to homeschool my oldest in preschool and I realized how terribly unequipped I was to teach. I didn’t have the discipline, nor the mental capacity to teach from home. I think public school is great. The teachers are all so intentional, the school counselors are lovely, and their principal remembers their names and things about them. We are very involved parents. We go on field trips, take them to school events, and go to all their conferences. Honestly, public school gets way too much hate.

Hey @KyleClark I'm a gay man and lifelong Obama/berniecrat until 2025. I was the proponent on this TWICE! I traveled to every single one of Colorado's 64 counties speaking on this issue. This is not, as you claim, an "evangelical christian" issue. This is not "anti-trans". This is about protecting female's rights to consent, privacy, safety, and equality. It's about protecting sex-based rights, sex-segregated spaces, and children's health and innocence. As a privileged white heterosexual male, I wouldn't expect you to understand why that is so important to protect. You just show your homophobia and misogyny by defending mutilating and sterilizing proto-gay children and allowing boys to rob girls of opportunity.

My primary prayer is for my kids to know God and follow Him. I want 100% of my kids to be saved. Public school has a horrible track record of causing Christian kids to become worldly. If you want your kids to have worldly lefty values—then public school might be your place ? But I know God answered my prayers by taking us out of public school & showing me the light. As far as kids being raised trans. We have met a few in our community. It is the most HORRIFIC SEXUAL ABUSE perpetrated on a child. I advocate against this and am supporting a ballot initiative here in Colorado to ban child sexual mutilation. This is the human rights initiative of our day—like banning slavery!

Survive? It is unlikely they will die from learning about others opinions :) Survive in the sense of hang on to conservative values? I am not conservative, so we are not the same. Do you mean remain Christians? We read them the catechism and bible every night, we train them, the gospel is far stronger than any ideology. You'd probably consider me a SJW, and my children know actual irl trans people - who transitioned when they knew them. So, we have real life experiences with this topic. We hold to a traditional Christian sexual ethic. Maybe if my kids and I never talked about sex or LGBTQ issues I would have reason to be ... fearful? But, we talk about these issues all the time, they are well equipped.
