A little over 20 years ago, I bought my first handgun. I went down a rabbit hole on figuring out what I wanted for my first gun. The problem is, the gun I wanted, a Browning Hi-Power was too expensive for a broke college kid. So, I discovered this little gem.. a dual tone CZ 75B. Of course, I was young and dumb and ordered it in 40 instead of 9mm. But still, as with all first loves, it will forever hold a special place in my heart. Curious thing happened about five years after I bought it: My apartment was broken into and it got stolen. To say that I was devastated would be an understatement. Fast forward about six years.... I get a phone call from Bryan TX police department. They have my gun. Apparently, it was picked up in a drug bust but I was allowed to come pick it up. I was really concerned with what condition it would be in after being in the hands of hoodrats and drug dealers for half a decade, but outside of some "idiot marks" on one side, it really turned out ok. Now I am left to wonder... What stories could this gun tell?
