State House today launched its Strategic Development Plan, Client Charter and Service Delivery Standards at the Sheraton Kampala Hotel, reaffirming the institution’s commitment to excellence, accountability, transparency and citizen-centred service delivery. The strategic documents will strengthen institutional performance and enhance support to the Presidency in the execution of its constitutional mandate. Launching the documents on behalf of the Minister for the Presidency, Hon. Santa Sandra Alum Ogwang said they will guide the implementation of Government priorities under the 2026–2031 NRM Manifesto and NDP IV.

The German proverb "Peace creates wealth, wealth creates arrogance, arrogance brings war, war brings poverty" illustrates the recurring cycle linking prosperity, pride and conflict. It teaches that peace enables growth, but unchecked arrogance can destroy it. The proverb remains relevant today, reminding people that humility, responsibility and wise leadership are essential for preserving lasting peace and prosperity.

Hon. @DaudiKabanda missed the PLU handover at Naguru, as outgoing GS for a “GHANA CONFERENCE.” One question for history: What weighs more: A conference abroad, or an event that will chart the future direction of our nation. This is a profound disappointment. the Mighty PLU deserves answers.

GGOOBI MEETS PRESIDENT OF BADEA: On the sidelines of the Annual Meetings of the Islamic Development Bank,2026 in Baku, Azerbaijan, PSST Dr. @rggoobi met the President of the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA),H.E Abdullah Khalil AlMusaibeeh.  @rggoobi thanked BADEA for the support extended to Uganda especially in the health sector. The Bank is financing the construction and equipping of the Uganda Heart Institute in Naguru in partnership with OPEC Fund for International Development & Saudi Fund for Development. BADEA is also financing the refurbishment and equipping Bugiri General Dr. Ggoobi thanked the Bank for the continued support to the Uganda Development Bank. They have so far financed seven lines of credit both directly to @UDB_Official and through Government. Currently BADEA is financing @UDB_Official with two lines of credit through Government worth USD 50 million and USD 100 million from the Public and Private windows of the Bank respectively. The President of the BADEA thanked the PSST and @GovUganda for the continued cooperation and pledged further support to Uganda’s development agenda.
