@EricRawsonPhD Or going on a walk, job, bike ride, etc. is the gateway to physical activity... Just my opinion, but with the state of the health of most... strength vs. endurance work doesn't matter much. Just get people moving in something they enjoy. Try lifting, running, all of it.

The second mistake is assuming that this discussion is entirely physiological... Will people do endurance training/MVPA? Is it sustainable? Resistance training (muscle) is the gateway to physical activity...

Has anyone ever measured beat-to-beat BP during/immediately after arm cycling exercise? Am trying to figure out if there are any tricks to capture post-exercise BP responses in some patients with SCI.

@ShalayaKipp @cwiggs5 Only discrete BP as far as I know (sciencedirect.com/science/articl…) but finapres used to assess response to orthostatic stress (jamanetwork.com/journals/jaman…). We toyed with the idea of one arm cycling in athletes but probably not applicable in a patient population.
