@Knightly_Hist If the sparks from steel hitting steel can't ignite it then there are a billion different ranged weapons you could make that won't set them off. Especially for a space age civilization.

By far my favoruite example is in Legend of the Galactic Heroes. The use of spreadable particles that ignite when a gun is fired in their vacinity, forces boarding crews to equip themselves in armor and wield axes. It also helps that it's very well choreographed.

Melee combat is just more compelling both from an entertaining and a narrative stand point. That's why most sci-fi franchises come up with fun ways to justify close quarters action.

The FDA did a very unusual thing this week: It included photos from a recent unannounced inspection of an Indian drug manufacturer in its Warning Letter to the company - the first time I believe it's ever done so. Would you believe this is from a drug manufacturer?

@johnsmith26647 @theweevilguy Writing a bad review isn't a tantrum. It's the reaction of a dissatisfied customer. People feel like they have no choice but to do that, because nothing else tends to work, aside from a sudden drop of players, but that's even more destructive for a game then a review bomb.

can i blame helldivers 2 for teaching a generation of gamers if you feel mildly inconvenienced by literally any change in a video game you should yell and scream review bomb and boycott the game and shit yourself until the developers cave in

Sociologically speaking I believe the proliferation of HMOFA/Teratophilia among young men is representative of their yearning for female companionship despite the increasing estrangement and alienation between the sexes, in this essay I will

@Cellulanus2 @theweevilguy Yes it did lol it directly addresses it. When you're jerking off to a drawing, are you able to distract yourself from the fact that no woman will ever love you?

@Cthulhu_OwO Realistically speaking you can't just stick a normal arrow into a fire and get a fire arrow. That's really not how they work.

@Cthulhu_OwO Looks to me more like he's complaining that the fire hitbox isn't big enough, requiring angling your character a very specific way to light it. And fire lighting your arrow is a rare enough of a feature in games that it's not intuitive. It's also not actually realistic.

@restlezzzzz The problem I have with G5 is that it retroactively ruined Twilight, it's a problem that a LOT of sequel works fall into. Celestia ruled Equestria peacefully for over a thousand years, but Twilight doesn't even make it to a century before she fucks everything up?

I think I’m forever just gonna sweep this idea under the rug lol, the idea that Twilight made it so no pegasus anywhere could fly anymore cause some bad guys did bad things is ridiculous to me like that’s way too tragic for characters like RD idk what they were thinking with G6
🩵🌈Galaxy🍉@GalaxySwirl24

I made a comic from RD’s perspective after Twilight sealed away equestrian magic (as shown in one of the g5 comics where future RD is in a flashback) …(1/5)

@Cellulanus2 @theweevilguy It's an Early Access game and the change was made on an opt-in beta branch specifically for tuning and feedback. You are subhuman. Fortunately, you will never have consensual sex.

@Azrun__ @Helldivers_NOW I take great pride in using an arc loadout and ending missions with zero friendly fire. Unless you ran into the tesla tower but that's your own damn fault.
