An update on Adam Wharton to Chelsea The deal has been made complicated due to mutual interest in players from both clubs. Palace want Trevoh Chalobah and Axel Disasi. Also enquired about Liam Delap. Chelsea want Adam Wharton and Maxence Lacroix. I am confident this will get done and drop in the mainstream media in the next week or so, especially on Wharton's side, which has essentially all but been agreed. Chelsea value Disasi and Chalobah at £20m and £40m respectively Palace value Wharton at £90m and Lacroix at £35m, but deal will be agreed for Wharton at £75m+ add ons Deal in the works for players to move both ways. I've heard good things about Marco Palestra, without having seen all that much of him. I would say though that £47m for a 21 year old with 1 year of regular Top 5 League football is a lot of money. He plays 15 senior games for Atalanta and they manage to flip him for that much money, after 1 successful loan spell... I think it suggests that Xabi Alonso is going to utilise a 3-4-3 or a variation of it, and that Malo Gusto will likely leave this summer.
