I’m talking about information that wasn’t in the TWID. A lot of times the twid would have nothing in it and DMG would just tweet out important stuff on his personal account. I don’t give two fucks about the silence. The game has been on the decline the last few years and this outcome was inevitable, has nothing to do with DMG. That SHOULD have been his only job yes. Unfortunately bungie turned him into the outlet for every form of news. There were so many instances where the only way to get information some weeks was through dmgs personal account on Twitter (which he routinely blocked people on for leaving valid feedback on the game). Just not a good system from a company this large imo.

The frustrations are not directly directed at dmg, he’s the community manager and essentially the voice of Bungie on Twitter. Dmg is speaking for Bungie, and when people are frustrated people convey that to Bungie through dmg. Thats literally his job as community manager. Lucky even specifies that we will not be able to trust “you guys” (Bungie), due to how they have treated the community, he never directly attacked dmg. While dmg is not blameless as he’s done his fair share of retarded things, people’s frustrations are with Bungie.

Even people that enjoy have been complaining about these issues😂. Bullet sponge Ai drones who are completely one note and do not vary up combat in any meaningful way other than eating resources is bad game design. People have pointed out how mediocre Marathon is from the beginning, it’s your own choice if you want to bury you head in the sand and ignore all its issues. More likely you’re too dumb to understand

Destiny 2 is a perfect example of why live-service games in general are ass. Not because their quality or because they inevitably shut down, because half of this game's content literally can't be played anymore. Nobody who paid for that content got refunds either.
