Yes, geniuses, Republicans correctly thought that Spencer Pratt could advance to the runoffs in a mayoral election with a very unpopular incumbent and poorly-polling Democrat challengers, especially because there was no other "serious" right-leaning candidate.
Even the ONE poll that showed Raman ahead of Pratt showed the top three candidates very close.
