this is probably the most honest post i’ve written in a while. lately i haven’t been very active on x. not because i don’t like it. because every time i open the app, someone is growing faster. someone has more users. more revenue. more traction. and after 2 years as an indie hacker, i still find myself feeling behind. i’m competitive. sometimes too competitive. and if i’m honest, it got to the point where i preferred not to open the app rather than compare myself to everyone else. but i’ve realized something. there will always be someone ahead of me. and there will always be someone looking at my journey thinking i’m ahead of them. so i’m done hiding. i’m done disappearing when things aren’t moving as fast as i’d like. i’m back. and i’m building harder than ever.

A lot of people need to stop calling themselves losers. You're not a loser. You might be losing right now. You might be behind, struggling, or stuck in a season that isn't going your way. That's very different from being a loser. We also need to redefine success. Success isn't having a certain number in your bank account. It's waking up with peace of mind, having your health, and knowing the people you love are doing well. And if becoming a millionaire is your goal, understand that real life doesn't work on 6-month timelines. It starts with knowing what you're trying to build, putting in years of consistent work, and being detached enough from the outcome to handle the setbacks, criticism, and adversity that come with any meaningful goal. Instead of asking, "How do I get rich fast?" ask, "How do I become great at something over the next 10-20 years?" The money is usually a byproduct. The real goal is becoming the person capable of creating it.
