The moment Israel targeted British journalist Steve Sweeney in southern Lebanon.

NEW: Jeffries may face a fight to become speaker in '27 even if Dems take the House More Dem candidates tell @axios their vote is not a given. "He's been failing to meet the moment," one told me Said another: "I cannot support this kind of leadership" axios.com/2026/03/16/hak…

The Jeff Bezos Washington Post comes out against raising the minimum wage.

The Democratic Party of Illinois is spending big money to defend a 31-year incumbent against @runforsomething candidate @nickuniejewski. The old guard will always protect their own.

IL07 candidate Jason Friedman, a Chicago real estate scion, has his own dark money super PAC, "Stronger Illinois PAC," that is registered to his election attorney's office. The PAC has spent $277,000 on mail and digital ads so far.

Dems had a generational fumble in 2009 Could’ve passed universal healthcare, paid family leave, strengthened social security, raised taxes on billionaires and corporations, and made massive capital investments in housing, and other areas. If only they had any actual courage.

The American built environment is so degraded that many Americans think that an area is very walkable if you can physically walk to a destination. Anyone who has spent much time in Very Walkable cities (including NYC) knows that there are neighborhoods where the majority of households don't own cars because it is MORE CONVENIENT to walk/bike/use transit than to drive. Sadly, the few Very Walkable neighborhoods that exist in the US are in such high demand that you have to be richer than God to afford family-sized housing in them. But we COULD build more family-friendly density in MORE cities, allowing MORE people to raise children in the cities they love rather than having to choose between having kids and city living. Left: look at retail abundance on one side of one Copenhagen city block Right: A Dallas-area suburb and drive-to "neo-classical" high school

NEW: Americans need income of $111,000 to afford median US home, 46% higher than the $76,000 required to rent according to Redfin.

Block the Bombs! Enough is enough.

Epstein isn't a national security scandal - it's a Wall Street scandal. New report shows Jeffrey Epstein was one of JPMorgan Chase's five largest private clients, with the bank saying his accounts "generated one of the largest annual revenue flows" x.com/RonWyden/statu…
