Probably the Brits kept the telegram and didn’t deliver it to him until the day of the fight. After retiring,became a successful businessman on Wall Street

Can say the same for Edwin Viruet. Diff set of eyes and he'd have wins over Duran, DeJesus, & Escalera.

@TheFightGallery It's even harder when people bash the subject matter without even reading it. He overcame adversity to win Olympic Gold and 2 titles stayed out of trouble, proper role model who would shake hands and sign autographs for anyone even those who say he was a failure at heavy

@CorpasWriter Good luck on your work. Leon Probably would Have sold more Copies. I know this much Holmes beat him twice. Spinks timely sketchy incident in the Eddie Gregory Scale nosense smells to high heaven. He was a failure as a heavyweight. He beat a washed Gerry Cooney thats it.

It's always worse to fight a guy that you've sparred with. Especially, if you dominated him in sparring.
Never show too much in sparring, you may have to fight that guy one day
