@moonmin_03 You can use Barspells or element resisting gear to reduce the amount of time that petrify lasts for.
Petrify is earth so Barstonra affects its length, and then you could also combine it with Barpetrify.

@CommissarBear Honestly, probably not LOL, but I think that's for any of the non Final Fantasy collab units.
Like I'd love to see the Xenogears units, but I don't think they'd want to muddle game.
Maybe like post launch DLC to add stuff like that would be fire tho!

The intro works as a setup for the game, even if every detail isn’t expanded upon it’s still easy enough to follow what’s going on through context clues. Covenant are aliens, ship is getting chased, fled from place called Reach.

Are books that are “required” reading for Halo games always a bad thing? Let me propose something to think about:
Reading The Fall of Reach book is absolutely required just to understand the *first* line of Halo CE.
But is that line, or the game itself, any less impactful if someone didn’t read the book that released first? Clearly, no. And that’s true for every other Halo book/video game combo.
Books are rewards for those who invest in them, but never required to understand the game’s story.

@Bit_Azure @Actually_Tina I was mostly being hyperbolic since I do agree that it does seem to be a project of genuine enthusiasm but I do still think it’s honestly easy to see why someone might be turned off of it or view the game more as a cash grab, especially with the reputation of gachas

@CosmicrushDT @Actually_Tina Because like I played Brave Exvius and this game looks WAY COOLER than that game was even with its great OST and stuff. The Gacha had insane power creep and stuff and having none of that in a singleplayer package is actually super fun to me, but I also love Octopath and such.

It is not everyone but there is a rather small (but loud) group of people who will never be satisfied because they really arent FF series fans. They just like 1 specific game and anything that deviates is bad.
The issue is everyone with criticism gets grouped in with them lol

@CosmicrushDT @Actually_Tina It's a Catch-22 because I don't think publishers should be able to go "Oh if you don't buy the thing you didn't actually ask for you you won't get the thing you want" But I also think people should put their money where their mouth is to support the things they supposedly want.

XIV players embracing sims and cheese strats is pretty aligned with how prominent AI acceptance and usage among the general public is. They only want the reward they don't enjoy the process, they don't view challenges as enjoyable but rather a nuisance.
