Happy New Year, Bitcoiners! I’ve made a wallet with a little over 50,000 satoshis in it for whoever finds it in 2025. I made it using brainwalletdotio with a few lines from a text about a fantastic creature invented by J.R.R. Tolkien. Happy hunting! 🙏

It's all actually going to happen for crypto. Feels like we're in the last window of time where that's not yet obvious to everyone.

@thetrocro Perhaps when it’s too late and they can only pay for food at the grocery store by scanning their retina at the register orb and thumbprint-signing at the age verification terminal, which also confirms the last four digits of their social security number and home address.

I think for my quantum risk dashboard, I'll focus on exposed public keys holding at least 1 BTC, since they account for over 97% of all exposed bitcoin. By the way, there's only ~150k of them and in theory, all of them could move to new addresses in less than a week.

@normalbitcoiner Yeah, just don't reuse addresses. If you've spent from an address before and it still has a positive balance, then its pubkey's exposed. Just move those sats to a fresh new address.

@JM_speakss I’d tell him to give it a shot! But he should check to see how easily he can re-sell it in his area on a weekend night.

My 36 year old best friend said he’d rather buy gold than bitcoin because it’s a better store of value and you can hold it in your hands. What would you tell him if you were me?

@jyn_urso Could AI compute facilities scale down to small modular setups in places that are far away from big grids/internet connections, similar to how Gridless or Vespene (and others) operate with small hydro or biomass facilities?

@bitcoinpolicy Hear me out: this could be a great opportunity for hardware wallet manufacturers to diversify their offerings. And just look how unassuming and non-threatening the government access port can be! 🥴

Section 33 of Kentucky's HB 380 gives hardware wallet manufacturers two choices: build a backdoor, or stop serving Kentucky customers. Either outcome harms consumers. We've written to Senate President Stivers urging its removal.

Finally people are starting to get it. Taxes are forced extraction to bankroll a machine that lies, spies, censors, arms itself, and has the audacity to call the whole arrangement “public service.” Once you see that you are not funding society so much as financing your own management, the spell breaks fast.

Think about this: OpenAI wants to take a cut of customers AI-aided discoveries but also wants to offer private equity firms 17.5%+ “guaranteed” returns and offer early access to said tools No wonder people don’t believe in capitalism anymore. The system is totally broken

The US Treasury market has been a mirage of strength backed by fake money and future promises. Bitcoiners have been pointing this out for well over a decade. It looks like the mirage could be dissolving. A globally distributed, finite and digital neutral asset will be the preferred reserve asset of the Digital Age. More will recognize this as we approach 2030.

@PeterMcCormack Your recent session with @SimonDixonTwitt was, in my opinion, the ne plus ultra of recorded conversations. Powerful and probing, systematic and also spiritual. Incandescently controversial, but intimate too. It kind of “had it all.” Actually, not kind of. It did.

Some people don’t realise the hard work that goes into building a podcast. Every fellow podcast knows the grind: - The early years turning up week after week and having so few views - Hustling for guests and getting no after no or just ignored - The endless criticism of who you are, what you look like, the guests you have, the questions you asked or didn’t ask - The unpredictable revenue streams - The challenge of changing algorithms - Constantly being called a grifter For every podcast you can go to their YouTube and scroll back. You can see the hard work on show. Also, nobody can hand you success, either you find an audience or you don’t. Either people like you or they don’t. Yet this growing scene of podcasters is important, challenging to have the conversations the mainstream media won’t touch. Andrew has been very kind to me, offering ideas and support. Despite supporting Tottenham, he’s a good man.

I don’t usually reply because you’re a troll who doesn’t pursue truth. But this hit a nerve. I literally bumped into the guy at an event. First time I’ve met him. If he’d somehow financed me, the last thing I’d do is put up a photo. You know this. Or is it just rage bait? Well, you win. As to your rather woke point, this may not fit your narrative but I was on minimum wage for years while struggling and working many jobs. I made an award winning documentary exposing an exorcist for what he did to girls, off my own back, learning to edit in between my various jobs and learning foreign languages. It took years. I had no contacts (yes, most Jews have no TV contacts - mind blown?) so found a way to find email addresses from LinkedIn pages. I sent about 50 emails a day for years to producers, commissioners and film festivals. I was rejected 50x a day (well, mostly ignored). After years, my film - which is damned good - was taken by the BBC. They basically didn’t pay me. I made a loss. So I continued on minimum wage jobs. They did put me in touch with their production companies - who all said they’d take my ideas but refused point blank to allow me to continue being on screen because I’m a white man. After years of this, I started speaking about it. No one believed me. I started my podcast then. I got just 4 listens the first month. I worked like crazy round the clock while continuing my other work. My wife watched me run myself into the ground for 2 years on this - eventually my YouTube channel about cults made it to a point where I could earn enough to quit my other jobs. I’ve never known a feeling quite like it. Relief. I used the revenue and contacts I’d slowly gained from this to start my new channel Heretics just over two years ago. The overwhelming majority of Heretics has been about ending woke culture and I sincerely believe I made an impact - however tiny - in convincing some people to move away from it. I also desperately try to make viewers realise how damaging immigration is. Unlike what you and your followers might imagine, I do very few videos about Israel and antisemitism. I’ve been unflinchingly patriotic and Britain first in hundreds of videos - even as trolls lined up the comments to hurl the most unimaginably cruel insults at me and my family about being Jewish. Despite this, I have tried to never play victim on my channel, and have always criticised the orthodox Jewish community even when it made me deeply unpopular with some Jews. On the record: I have never received a single penny of investment. I have never been told who to interview. I have never paid for views or subscribers (I doubt this even works). In just over two years, I have nearly 1 million subs precisely because my subs see me as fair. One time, in an interview with a man who literally wants to do blood tests on the entire citizenship to ascertain who should be deported, I said that I consider myself white and that we white people will end up mixing with all the other races. I was probably wrong. I’ve been wrong many times on my channel and will be again. I knew it wouldn’t look good but I left it in the video to be fair. Yet it was cut out of context to not include the part where I said I included myself in the white people - and that I really didn’t want that to happen. Which is pretty key, given millions then saw clips suggesting I was a subversive Jew who wanted whites to no longer exist. That, I can take. I won’t be able to convince you otherwise. But I take pride in my work. Even though you’re anonymous, so should you. And I won’t have you lying about the work I put in. If you take yourself and your work at all seriously, you should apologise and admit you got this particular take wildly wrong. If not, your followers should consider whether you’re what you say you are.
