NCAA leadership is expected to finalize an expansion of the men’s and women’s tournaments to 76 teams soon after this year’s tournament 🏀
The proposal would add eight games to the First Four, with 24 teams playing in an opening round before advancing into the main bracket.

Just for context ... the referee is Roger Ayers, who has worked multiple Final Fours. Known for his toughness and also sense of humor. This struck me as Hurley messing with a buddy more than intimidating a ref. This is after Mullins' shot, so Hurley was obviously not mad at the refs.

UCONN HC Dan Hurley made contact with an official after his team went up 1 with .4 seconds left after trailing as much as 19 in the game. He literally taunted an official & is incredibly lucky he didn’t cost his team the game with a tech.

The Monster Stack is not best stack forward.
If you bag Flight A, you play Day 2A the next day. You could make the money, bust. Then play an available Day 1 flight. If you bag Day 2A, you can’t play later flights. You could surrender your stack on Day 2A, collect a payout, then play a later Day 1 flight.

@Kevmath thanks for all the info. Do you happen to know if event 18 1500 monster stack is a best stack forward event? Since payouts begin day 2, can multiple day 1 flights be played with more than 1 payout? Forfeit a lower stack for min cash?
