During the #NDP Indicator Manual training, Mr. Kintu Anthony Mwanje, the Head of Secretariat for Private Sector Development (PSD) and Development Plan Implementation (DPI) Programmes highlighted that; the NDPIII midterm review and other programme studies revealed the lack of data on indicators (baselines, targets and performance) as one of the key M&E challenges faced during the implementation of NDPIII. Therefore, the Development Plan Implementation (DPI) programme has developed the NDP Indicator and Programme-Based Budgeting(PBB) Manual as one of the key interventions to improve the #NDPIV implementation performance with the aim of boosting skills for MDAs and LGs in development of Strategic Development Plans. Mr Kintu added that the expected outcome is atleast 98% of MDA and LG Development Plans passing the NPA Plan & budget alignment assessment. #NDPIV #PlanningforDevelopment @mofpedU
