Following Iraq, we have put rules in place to ensure we don’t enter illegal wars, the first act speaks loudly.

I hate being dragged into situations because of a burning need to try and mitigate the damage of the gibbering idiot in charge of the UK, but we actually owe America a lot. We have been allies a long time. Rather than calling this Israel’s war, which is a propagandist take, it’s a war America requested help with. Our prime minister somehow, against all odds managed to somehow fail to achieve the statuses of either peace or war, which is an unprecedented feat. I don’t like war. But I understand having a responsibility. I also understand that in the future when someone may start causing problems for us like Putin who Starmer has been pissing off that America may no longer feel our special relationship is worth the effort.

@chanwalrus @paul_montague @0hour1 Also America didnt engage with the UK prior to strikes that Israel pushed for. As a ‘key’ ally, and a country who has supported you in previous wars which you’ll be looking to reach out to for further support - wouldn’t you make them aware prior to initiation?
