Khusanov is a unicorn centre-back. Short passing is decent but his long-passing is a cheat code a la peak van Dijk had and his recovery defending feels Kyle Walker like. Those two qualities together makes him so suited to this current tactical landscape.

@AliceTalksFooty He’s nowhere near KDB or Bruno. Very good in tight spaces, but outside of that he lacks the tools to impact the game. Also the reason why Haaland is struggling to get into the game. Cherki works better with a Kane/Benzema type

If we are being real Cherki is the Bruno Fernandes replacement in terms of creativity. Only player in league that comes close to Bruno's creativity and vision. Will never happen because he plays for City but Cherki is an incredible footballer. Very jealous.

Pacho is by far the best CB in the world right now. He’s not an elite passer, but his ball-carrying more than makes up for it. He's physically dominant, aggressive, a recovery monster but unlike most aggressive CBs-more often than not, he isn't reckless. Insane floor raiser.
