@Timcast I'm sure this probably varies based on area/location to a degree. I'm in a rural East Coast location. I only bring this up because I have never seen such a political shift in my own personal circle during my lifetime. It is also contrary to the polls I see, yet a HUGE shift.

@Timcast I'd way rather hear what individual people see in their personal circles. I feel thats more telling than polls. The really Odd thing for me is that all the kids of my friends who are now in college have all changed to GOP this year. My own boys were liberal in HS are now GOP.

i have been tracking this for about 6 months.. nearly every race has shown a 10 point swing for dems from what trump won, even in nashvill the person running for congress lost, but picked up 10 points. this means if it holds and it will. the house flip will be about 50 seats. look at the members that wone by 10 points or less last cycle, they are in trouble. you may not like it, but look back and you will find out i am right.

@jeremykauffman I agree with the feeling. I think a better way of saying it other than "Oppressed" would be "Discriminated Against". It happens a lot and it is based on skin color even when your dominant bloodline heritage is not what your skin color shows. Let's just be Americans first.

I do not walk around seeing myself as oppressed.
It is antithetical to my psychology and worldview, which asserts as much as possible is within my control.
At the same time, whites are discriminated against by:
- every elite college
- most if not all large corporations
- doctors and the medical establishment
- banks
- the SBA and in government-issued loans
- government agencies that ration medicine
- many government courts
- most of the corporate media
Even in writing this out, I hate to use the word oppression. It feels like weakness. It feels gross to say.
But it probably is true.

@jeremykauffman I’d say white men face the most institutional discrimination in contemporary America, but would not say white men are “oppressed,” which is a very strong and, in my opinion, unjustified connotation.

In this footage, you can see her physically attacking her ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen, AND NOT CARING THAT THEIR DAUGHTER INDY (only 5 years old at the time) was right there on the couch! 😡 You can hear Indy crying as Dakota yells on the audio, “This is called physical abuse” and “Your daughter just got hit.” It’s staggering to think how much longer this could have continued had it not been for video footage.
