Greed is the knife and the scars run deep 🇮🇪 🇵🇸

The European Union is quite literally starving 2 newborn babies & a 7-year-old child, because their father @hussedogru committed the heinous crime of covering Palestine as a journalist. Why has his case received so little attention?

#Suqaylabiyya | W #Syria: New mobilizations of men from the town of "Qalaat al-Mudiq" heading to attack the Christian city of Suqaylabiyya. Our sources indicate that so far they have been stopped by the #HTS-led General Security militias. We will keep you updated in case they are allowed to reach the city of Suqaylabiyya, as happened yesterday.

🚨 No one is safe. 🇮🇱 Israeli soldiers were caught on camera pointing rifles at CNN journalists — then choking one of them during reporting. This happened while they were documenting an illegal settler outpost in the occupied West Bank, where a 75-year-old Palestinian man was reportedly beaten inside his own home. Journalists targeted. Civilians attacked. All in plain sight. Source: CNN

In an emotional message, martyr Fatima Ftouni speaks about the liberation of South Lebanon, remembers martyred leaders, and draws from their words and resolve to continue the fight against the Israeli occupation. Fatima was cowardly assassinated by the Israeli occupation in an attempt to silence her, but her words will never die as long as the Resistance lives. #Lebanon #SouthLebanon #FatimaFtouni #AlMayadeen

“We, as journalists in Lebanon, will honor their memory by continuing to work today and tomorrow and every day until the Israeli army is out of South Lebanon,” said Courtney Bonneau @cbonneauimages, VPol Contributor and photojournalist, after the IOF assassinated Lebanese journalists Ali Choieb and Fatima Ftouni, as well as photojournalist Mohammad Ftouni today. ■ Ali Choieb, veteran resistance journalist with Al Manar, and Fatima Ftouni, correspondent to southern Lebanon for Al Mayadeen, were assassinated in a deliberately targeted Israeli drone strike on several press vehicles in Jezzine, southern Lebanon while fulfilling their professional duties. ■ “Today, while documenting these war crimes and the Israeli invasion of Lebanon, they became victims of a war crime themselves.” #VPol

There are no words that can truly hold the grief I feel right now. Israel killed @ftounifatima. I watched you grow over the years into one of Lebanon’s most fearless journalists, and I will always be proud to have called you my friend. Seeing you report the unimaginable loss of your own family in an Israeli strike broke my heart and made me fear for your safety in a way I never had before. I so desperately wish that fear had been unfounded. May you now find peace, reunited with your family and your brother who we lost today with you. Rest in peace, Fatima. You will never be forgotten.

After assassinating Alex Odeh in 1985 Jewish Defense League terrorists Andy Green and Keith Fuchs returned to Palestine and trained protégés who are now in the Israeli government. Green trained Police Minister @itamarbengvir and Fuchs trained Constitution Committee chair @rothmar

Below is a list of Lebanon's 14 martyred journalists and media workers since October 8 until today: Today, my friend Ali Choeib, the dean of war correspondents and a reporter for Al-Manar TV, whom I have known since 2004, and together we covered the July 2006 israeli occupation's aggression on Lebanon, my source for news from the eastern sector in southern Lebanon when I was not on the front lines, and the undisputed king of war coverage, a man of exceptional integrity who defied pain and illness to bring us the full truth as it was from the edges of Lebanon’s borders, was martyred along with our friend Fatima Ftouni, the brave, beautiful, strong, and determined correspondent for Al Mayadeen TV, who was covering the eastern sector's front today alongside her brother, Al Mayadeen cameraman Mohammad Ftouni. Their car was deliberately targeted by the israeli occupation in the Jezzine area in southern Lebanon today, March 28, 2026, and they joined the convoy of martyred Lebanese journalists and media workers, who have been killed at the hands of the israeli occupation since October 8, 2023 to date. The list of martyrs from Lebanon’s press and media sector since October 8 until today includes: 4- My wonderful friend Farah Omar, correspondent for Al Mayadeen TV, from Mashghara—its shining star—who was martyred in a direct israeli occupation strike while covering the israeli occupation's aggression on Lebanon in Tair-Harfa in South Lebanon in November 2023. I had met her just a few days before she was murdered, and stopped by the roadside to greet her before continuing on my way for field coverage. 5- Rabih Maamari, Al Mayadeen cameraman, who was martyred alongside Farah in November 2023 in a direct strike by the israeli occupation. 6- My friend Hussein Hammoud, the polite and respectable and professional Al-Manar cameraman, who was murdered by the israeli occupation a few days ago this week while documenting the israeli occupation's crimes in the Nabatieh area. 7- Hussein Safa, cameraman for the Hawana Lubnan website, who was martyred in a direct israeli occupation strike targeting him in the southern town of Mifadoun in October 2024. 8- Engineer Mohammad Reda from Press TV, who was martyred in a direct israeli occupation strike targeting a group of 18 journalists and media workers from seven media outlets while they were sleeping in the Hasbaya area (late October 2024). 9- Cameraman Wissam Qassem from Al-Manar TV, who was martyred in the same direct israeli occupation strike on a group of 18 journalists and media workers in Hasbaya (late October 2024). 10- Ghassan Najjar, cameraman, who was also martyred in that same direct israeli occupation strike on a group in Hasbaya (late October 2024). 11- My friend Hajj Mohammad Sherri (Abu Hassan), news director at Al-Manar TV, who was martyred along with his wife while sleeping at his home in the heart of the Lebanese capital Beirut, in the Zokak el-Blat area, where he was recovering from an illness. 12- Hadi Al-Sayyed, social media editor at Al Mayadeen TV, the youngest media worker to be martyred in this war. He was 22 years old when the israeli occupation struck his home in the Burj Rahhal area of Tyre, southern Lebanon. 13- My dear friend Issam Abdallah, a Reuters video journalist—the kind, gentle young man I had known for five years, who used to rescue abandoned animals on the roads… 14- Mohammad Biqaei, an independent correspondent, translator, and interview producer, who was shot by the israeli occupation during the second week of the israeli occupation's aggression on Lebanon in October 2023. He was near the border but inside Lebanese territory. The israeli occupation forces prevented anyone from approaching him and fired live shots around him to ensure he would not be rescued. Mohammad recorded a video on his phone and sent it to his brother Ahmad, telling him he felt he would die soon—as if saying: let the world see what the occupation is doing to us. Mohammad Biqaei bled to death that day. According to paramedics who later received his body, if he had been rescued 15 minutes earlier, he would have survived. It is also noted that Israeli forces prevented UNIFIL troops from approaching the area where Mohammad Baqai was.

Ahmed Muin, a musician from Gaza, created “Gaza Birds Singing”, a group of displaced children raising their voices for peace, freedom, and hope.

Even with the ceasefire in place, Palestinians in Gaza are still subjected to daily gunfire and explosions from Israeli forces. Tensions remain particularly high for residents near the Yellow Line, which marks the boundary between Israeli-controlled zones and the rest of Gaza. Journalist Tareq Abu Azzoum reports.
