Proud mom moment! My son Trey is officially a CITY STL Futures Community Coach ⚽️⚽️ He’s turning his love for soccer into opportunities for students who are often underrepresented in the sport. After all that he has been through he still leads with joy. That’s resilience.

MOASPA STL was in the house in Columbia. HR in full effect. The man, the myth, the legend. Dr. Baugus is the absolute best!

MPER meeting in Columbia & bump into Soror Joi Moore, Mizzou Professor & DST National Secretary. Great conversation & beautiful spirit. Almost wore my Deltas for Justice shirt but landed on this to represent Black History & Women’s History Month. She is definitely Black HERstory.

Black History Living Museum @ECC takes history off the page & brings it to life. Instead of just reading about a famous person, students become that person for a moment helping them realize that the people who changed the world were real people with big dreams and a lot of grit.
